Context & purpose of this privacy policy

E-Success Ltd is a family run business which offers website design, implementation and maintenance services to its customers. We also offer other IT services (Consultancy, logo design, newsletters design, etc.), and we use a UK based third party hosting company to host the websites we maintain.

The purpose of our website, https://www.e-success.co.uk is to advertise our services and showcase some of the web sites we have designed for our customers (as seen in the portfolio section). Our website also includes our contact details and a generic contact form.

We would like to reinforce that we are very professional when dealing with the data you may provide us though these means of contact and are doing everything we can to be compliant with the current GDPR regulation. You should know that we are not, in any circumstances, in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists (or any other form of personal information we collect about you) with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. In this Privacy Policy, we are detailing when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need additional clarification on our privacy policy.

In the following policy, “our website” refers to “https://www.e-success.co.uk/”

Types of data we collect and how we use it

Website Cookies
See our cookie policy to find out more about the use of cookies when accessing our website.

Google Analytics
Please note that our website uses Google Analytics, a third party service used to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to analyse the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is anonymous and we do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Web Hosting and E-mail Services
Please note that the website we design for you are hosted on a separate web server as we use a third party UK-based web hosting company to host all the websites we maintain. We do not share personal information about you with this third party. However the content of the website (Text, images, videos, account details) are hosted on their servers. We have also subscribed to a daily incremental back up service operated by this hosting company to ensure your web site is fully backed up.

With your website, you may also have opted for us to setup one or several e-mail accounts. In this case the e-mail account information, settings and the email inboxes and outboxes are also hosted on the same servers from our third party hosting company.

Please be reassured that we have opted for a reliable, UK based, hosting specialist company and have reviewed their Data Privacy policy to ensure that they are adhering to our values and following the current GDPR regulation.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should require further information about our hosting provider.

Domain Names Registration
When implementing a website, we offer the possibility for you to let us register your domain name(s) on your behalf. In this case, we do have to provide some basic information (Full company name, contact name, contact details such as e-mail, phone number, postal address) to an external domain registrar. Following domain name regulations, some of this information will be made public and can per default be accessible by anyone (e.g. using a WhoIs service). It is possible to opt for a domain privacy option should you wish to do so, though this involves an extra cost.

Please note that specific legislation applies to domain names and you can find out more about these by visiting the relevant registry service providers (e.g. Nominet, ICann, etc.) Once again we have opted for a reliable, UK based, domain name registrar and have reviewed their Data Privacy policy to ensure that they are adhering to our values and following the current GDPR regulation.
Please do not hesitate to contact us should require further information about the domain registrar we use when registering domain names.

SSL Certificates
For your website, we strongly recommend you to opt for a SSL certificate to ensure that all the transactions between your website and your visitors are encrypted. We offer the possibility for you to let us buy a SSL certificate for your domain/website on your behalf. When we do so, we purchase the SSL certificate from a third party SSL certificate provider and have to provide them with your domain name, company name and postal address.

We have opted for a reliable SSL Certificates Provider and have reviewed their Data Privacy policy to ensure that they are adhering to our values and following the current GDPR regulation.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should require further information about the domain registrar we use when registering domain names.

Search Engines and Social Networks
In order for your website to be more visible on search engines and on social networks we recommend you to submit your website to:

  • Search Engines
  • Relevant Business Directories
  • Social Networks

Should you wish us to assist you in doing so, we would have to share some of your contact details with the relevant search engines, business directories and social networks. More information might be required, for instance if you wish us to set up social network accounts on your behalf. In this case we would contact you to discuss your requirements further and to seek your approval before submitting any personal information on these platforms.
